Research Project "Populism and Foreign Policy" by Prof. Dr. Sandra Destradi

The research project “Populism and Foreign Policy”, funded by the German Research Foundation and based at the Chair for International Relations (Department of Political Science), studies the impact of populism on the foreign policy of a range of countries. The Philippines are one of the case studies analyzed in the project.
PhD: monographs and prizes

Four PhD thesis in Sociocultural Anthropology have been published recently. Gerrit Gonschorek's thesis in Economics has won this year’s Young Talent Award for Development Research by the KfW-Development Bank/German Economic Association (Verein für Socialpolitik).

New module on "ASEAN's external relations" by Jürgen Rüland

Jürgen Rüland contributed a module on “ASEAN’s external relations” to the “ASEAN Law School 2022” conducted by the Center of International Law (CIL) of the National University of Singapore on 15 and 17 February 2022. The module focused on ASEAN’s performance as a collective actor in global international organizations such as the UN General Assembly (UNGA) and the World Trade Organization (WTO).
