October Lectures organized by SEA Studies at Freiburg

in October 2013 SEA Studies at Freiburg has invited several guest lectures to the University. Dvora Yanow (Wageningen University) will speak about "Interpretive Research Design", Carol Tan´s (University of London) talk will be on "When Filipina and Indonesian domestic workers sue their employers in Hong Kong" and Raul Cordenillo (The International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance) will hold a lecture about "Democratising ASEAN: Reflections of an ex-ASEAN Civil Servant".

BMBF project extension for two more years

Due to the successful evaluation of the SEA Studies at Freiburg project, the BMBFdecided to extend its sponsorship for another two years (starting from November 2013).
Courses on Southeast Asia in the Winter Term 2013/14

Every semester Southeast Asian Studies at Freiburg University offers several student courses on SEA, as well as courses on some of the region´s languages.
